What gear is everybody rocking?

Heres my equipment...
Laptop: Asus Tuf, Ryzen 9, 1TB ssd internal, 2 x 2TB externals, 16 gb ram.
DAW's: FL Studio, Cubase 11.
Interface: Roland Duo Capture EX
Midi Controller: M-Audio Oxygen61
Monitors: Some cheap monitors I bought about 20+ years ago. Sennheiser HD 280 headphones, getting some Beyerdynamic DT 990's very soon.

Thats about it really for me. Very portable as Im between home and the studio a lot, and like to use my own shit.

Mine;

- some shit PC that is probably less capable than my phone, with no storage space left. It's just below minimim spec for my DAW but despite that I still manage to make the bangers you hear from me
- very basic m audio soundcard
- 49 key midi keyboard (with sliders and knobs i don't bother to use)
- drumpad midi controller (i play everything you know... even them 32T hihats :sneaky:;))
- fairly powerful set of nearfield monitors that I've had for probably about a decade
- Studio One 4
- NI Komplete 13 Standard (not installed due to lack of storage)
- Ozone 9 standard (also not installed, see above)
- a few plugins that I've been using on my mix bus to get the mixes some respected ears here have been praising me for

Really need to get a new computer, it's crazy trying to figure out the best option and understand it all. But I'm finally getting close.

Ok, here it goes :
Computer : Carillon Core 4XT, Intel I9, 4TB SSD + 3TB (all internal), 128GB ram
DAW : Cubase + Reason (that I use inside cubase now)
Interface : Apogee Symphony Desktop or Universal Audio Apollo x4
Midi controller : Novation Impulse 61
Monitors : Mackie CR3 or 4
Headphones : Beyerdynamic DT 1990-Pro

And if you think that's expensive, then please don't ask me about my guitar rig...

@2GooD Productions , just so you know, I hate you for making me look back at my computer's invoice for the specs...

So an apogee interface with mackies... Can you still get the full potential out of the interface or?
Well I want good preamps to record stuff.
In terms of playback, I don't but I don't want to spend money on speakers in an untreated room... it doesn't make much sense. And I can't acoustically treat the room rn.

Wont a quilt be better than the mattress? Not only is it smaller, its more absorbent. Especially folded. But thats a true setup right the, aint what you got, its how you use it
