When I was 15, two friends and I got all dressed in black and hid out in the fields near my house and pelted cars with eggs and tomatoes, then smashed up about 30 mailboxes, then smashed a few pumpkins. The very last pumpkin we smashed, we got caught by the father and he told our parents, we all had to go over to the kid's house and apologize, and I got put on restriction for a very long time.

But enough about me, what about YOUR crazy hallowed eve's tales?

I don't know, every year (around here at least) halloween loses its magic.. less and less kids go out each year.. there's hardly any decent horror flicks on tv. Ah well at least that leaves me with the left over candy.

Did you guys get the USA network up in Canada? they used to have a show called Saturday Nightmares, hosted by Elvira....they played all these corny slasher movies (edited, of course), it was a great way for a kid to spend a saturday night....

hmm.. i will be a part of the "treat" so to speak. my church has a big outreach called "Halleluia", which is a carnival of sorts. i get to run the skee ball booth. we hosted about 2500 people last year, we are expecting about 3,000 to 5,000 this year... its a good thing! this year we have a rock climbing wall and a mechanical bull..... although only the wall is new this year.

i went pumpkin smashing when i was 13.... my friend had an "i love cops" t shirt on, and we went to several cops houses..... they didnt see the humor, and ne of them had this hge house and gave us twizzlers. no one wants twizzlers for halloween, and if it was a poor old lady it would have been fine. but this guy had this huge house, so we were a little ticked, and came back an hour or so later and through three pumpkins through his windows and booked it. we never did get caught.....

Pug you're right, I find it's like that every year. Less and less kids going out. Maybe parents today are being uptight, I don't know.

When I was 14 I went out trick or treating for the last time, and I was with my friend and his little sister. Anyway, I couldn't get my hands on a hockey mask so I had this cheesy white plastic thing that sort of looked like a Michael Myers mask. And to make my costume seem a little more "real", I brought a REAL kitchen knife! I don't know what I was thinking. Something like this:

The first time I got to go trick or treating when I was a kid, my mom got me a devil suit with a cape and staff. But something ripped the cape so I had to sport the devil suit without it.

The bad thing was, the suit was a red one peice spandex body suit with a tail on it.

Every year after that I was a ninja to try and make up for that madness.

Yeah I remember that! I would watch it all the time because it was a good laugh seeing those lame horror flicks.
