    "easy fix" might be to play the first note of the sample in a vsti, and pitch up to match. (In this case it's a "D". )

    I think it's the song that's sampled. It sounds like it's -4 or -5 cents off pitch. Sometimes (especially with old soul records) there's a detuned instrument involved or the background singers lack talent... Or if the record is ripped with the wrong rpm on the pickup, the whole record sounds...

    Yooo peeps, Made a LoFi beat with guitar samples. Used filters, EQ's and added a chorus to most of the guitar samples. Layered some guitar parts on top with a high pass filter to get some high frequencies in. Also added some texture. Let me know what you think, feedback is much appreciated...

    I use sidechain compression to let the drums "pierce through" the instruments. This way he drums sound much clearer without having to turn up the drum bus volume...

    Dope man, I really dig the arrangement! Drums are a little loud and harsh in the mix. I think tune them down a bit and give it a little more warmth...
