SF best HipHop city?

I've been ther eduring holidays, and I just love thisa city and the area arround! Cool record Stores, Graffitti Places, big HipHop scene.... This list could go on for ever. I've also een to nY alot of times, but it's not htat fresh there. What do you think?

Best Producers at the moment?

Well, I don't like Timbaland simpley because I don't like keyboard-beatz. I mena some of his beats are fresh, but I don't like the idea of a former dj who does not use any real scratches and makes them (bdaly) with his mouth. I like Alchemist and Premier by the way and I hate Swissbeatz, Manni...

If you just need a programm to sequenz your drums, then I'd recommend Tuareg. T#S mainly the same and it doesn't look so f**ked up. Use hardware annyway...

I never deejayed a lot at partys, but I do alot of scratching. I'm not a Turntableist, but I like to practise with battle-records. Juggles are my favourites! And I try to ad scratches to everym beat I do, how 'bout you, do you like scratches in beats?

For me the culture is a very important part of may life. I try to preserve it, and be part of it. The one thing I never did, was B-Boying, but at least I'm the Dj of a B-Boy Group, so I do take part in that thing too. But maybe I'm just too young. I mean someday ´there migth be another thing...

New to producing. Some help?

If you never produce something before, i wuold recommend, fist to try to do some beatz on your computer. Then, when it goes good, move to equipment, I did the same. For the first I'd use the freeware Programs Tuareg (Chek download.com or so) and Fruity Loops. trust me, equipment ist mostly...

What software instruments do u use?

Well, Steinberg has some cool VST Instruments for CubaseVST. Like "The Grand" One of the best pianos for the PC. Just check Steinbergs product range.
