    The difference between PC's and samplers....

    to do things the easiyer way, doesn't mean they are better. And there are things you can di with hardware that you can't with a computer. I can understend PC heads, complainung about "PC beats are whack, get hardware" statements, but I've hardly seen PC head who don't try to tell ev'rybody...

    bring an Dj, with a 3-channel mixer, 2 turntables and a minidisc-player. Your beats on the minidisc, the samples (wordcuts & scratches) ont the two turntables.

    Sample Rich, Or Sample Less

    I'm a sample-based beatmaker, a sample is the main ingridient in every of my beats. Of course I ad synthesizer and soundmudul sounds, but it's mainly digging, looping and chopping some samples. That'S what I love.

    I think beat making while be only a hobby (an expensive one by the way ;) ) for my whole live, because my beats aren't that great or whatever and I want to have some money, and familiy and kids n' stuff. So I do have to look after a well paid job which miht be boring...

    poor man's copyright: Take a copy of the beat (on cd for example) put it in an anvelope, seal it good, and send it to you via mail... and don't open it. Cause if you send somth. to sb. he's the official owner!

    I really prefer Hardware, messing arround with the MPC, midi-keyboard, synths, mixer and turntables give me the satisfaction i need whyle making beats. I used to do it on the PC as well, but I need real knobs and faders and stuff... I use the PC only for recording...
