    Basslines

I had problems with basslines myself. I just kept trying though. I approached it kind of the way Fade describe it. One note here and there and then I just build. Best to keep it simple at first.

What other kinds of music do you listen to ?

Reggae and a lil bit of R&B. Given my latin background, I also listen to salsa. Also, latin (spanish) hip-hop has been making some noise, so I keep my ear out for that too.

    Producer/MC?

Just would like to get your views on the following: Do you feel that producers who also rhyme, make better producers? I hope I got this across right. Here's what I mean: I consider myself a producer who has good ear for hip hop music. I don't rhyme. However, I think that if I can get...

    To all producers

Yo Yo! I would feel honored, yet at the same time probably disappointed. I would want full credit since it was my beat, don't care if I don't get any loot, but give me the credit as the producer. One!

    i use only pc's 2 make beats

Aight aight...my say on this is this: Use whatever makes you feel comfortable. I personally have never used any hardware, although I always wanted to. Once I got a pc and loaded up my beat program...I just took off with. If I was to use hardware, the quality of my beats would suffer since am...
