    sampling multiple songs

    That's the way the forefathers did it. I think all this technology got us lazy to be honest. And i can't front, I've fallen victim... It is hard to get samples from different records and different keys to work together. I think it is a good approach to find a good ten or so records with dope...

    slight buzz when recording from vinyl

    If your preamp doesn't have a ground connector, then try running a wire from the back of the needle arm (where the counter weight is) to the chassis of the preamp. I use an old table with no ground and that did the trick for me.
