    Xzibit - Concentrate (remix)

Really cool man. It has like an Eastern European vibe which is hella unique. What's that faster/high pitch instrument called? The strings panned to the left are fire! My only $0.02 is that the bass gets a bit repetitive when head nodding but dope overall. Really clean sounding too. Great work here.

I was feeling a bit depressed...

Thank you man. This was one where I just felt like putting aside all of the fancy plugins, stick with proven sounds, and focus on emotion/storytelling. Happy to hear it's being received that way. & dude Paparazzi is one of my fav beats so that's dope. Thanks for listening.

And this is what I cooked up when I had time to zone out: Welcome any and all feedback. Really tried to get the mix sounding clean while making it extra DUSTY.

    Fatality FIGHT! Battle #244

This was the first trap-style beat I ever tried making. Was just a couple weeks ago and feel I've already learned a ton from these forums (i.e. I didn't know what sidechaining was when I made this).

Dj Shadow/Run the jewels - Nobody speak (Jane Bjork Jensen remix)

This is cool, def a style that's right up my ally. Some of the guitar hits sounded off to me. I think still on beat just threw off my head nodding. Might just be my hyper-whiteness though. Cool track. Great work!

Barbara Jean English - "You're Gonna Need Somebody to Love You"

Curious, is there a best practice when taking that approach on how to run the sample... i.e. do you load the same sample into a sampler 2x and then each to it's own track on the mixer, or do you run 1 sample into 2 tracks on the mixer?

Very smooth. Are those horns part of the OG sample or is that a separate sample?

Pop/R&B/Hip-Hop Beat with Hook "Walking Down the Street"

Call it a flip or a remix or whatever you like, but I decided to give a twist to a newly released soul song. Beat: Original: Welcome any and all feedback. I had fun with this so may try to keep this style going for a bit.

Thanks @2GooD Productions @Mike Chief Do you try to target a certain RMS or don't worry about that?

Barbara Jean English - "You're Gonna Need Somebody to Love You"

Appreciate this. I think over the last couple weeks I've been trying to fuck around with too much shit. Thanks for the reminder that I really just need to make sure I'm doing the basics right and that there's no magic VST or preset.
