    Im considering getting a mic for the studio.....

    i have a Rode NT2A. it's a nice mic, just a little on the bright side. nothing that can't be worked around with some eq. also have a shure sm7b...it's the best mic i've used thus far...at least to MY ears.

    i agree with the showcase. i don't think you get as much feedback with the way it is now. like i've told fade already, the only thing i'm really missing is the ability to click on a link and go back to the top of the page instead of having to scroll. other than that, i'm liking what i'm seeing.

    i've mixed an entire album with cool edit. it wasn't that bad. of course that was before i got logic, or reason was able to do audio. it was a case of use what you got. i agree. if you're going to cool edit route, get adobe audition....and a better mic. also remember, the sound quality...
