    the problem I found was that there was a delay from hitting the key and the sound playing. I don't know if that is deu to my computer or if it is the program.

    I do that sometimes, yes. it works great. most of the times I use different hihats though. I use up to 5 or 6 different hihats sometimes to get a swing in my song.

    I don't know midi, but I think you have to open like a piano roll to adjust the notes. you can do that also with wav samples. right click and send to piano roll. to make tracks you have to click the button wich says PL (playlist) next to the save section. there you can combine every pattern...

    you don't have to do anything to the original wav file. it has to work the way you describe, just right click. I don't know why it is grey though. I tryed to find out but could not find it. try searching in the preferences.
