it's the same with drum samples...i try to stay away from sampling new VSTs these days because i know that there's going to be something that i want, that i don't really need. it's hard though. especially since you just mentioned that focusrite eq that i'm about to look up.....thanks Dac... -

Singers that don't know basic music theory?!
that shit kills me. sometimes i work with this dude that's been rappin for years, and he STILL can't count bars. he'll just write, and then i have to listen to what he wrote and tell him how many bars it is. i've tried to teach him and he just doesn't get it. -

take a break. organize your sound library. listen to music that you wouldn't ordinarily listen to. work on your engineering skills, add new things to your repertoire. things like that. i'm having the same problem right now. i'm taking the time to look for new music. found a couple things... -
