    Sometimes it could be your soundcard causing that latency when you rewire. Check the settings.

    I also have the EMU soundcard. I don't even use the Patchmix program I just let it load up and leave it alone. I don't think you have to use the patchmix software anyways. I never do. I just use cubase and soundforge.
