you might be able to ground it too a solid piece of metal. a large screw is probably too small, but might work. -

I would conect the end of the wire that is not connected to anything to your mixer's ground, on the back of your mixer. -

Props to the BBC. They always drop excellent documentaries! I have this one video called "Alchemist's of Sound" where they feature the original samplers that use huge multiple tape recorders to loop and construct songs an soundtracks in the earlly 60's. very very interesting.- Chrono

i agree completly. Learning theory really allows a musican to visualize the beat/melody in their head and know how to create it in your head. Now when I listen to peoples beats or songs I can visualize which octave (c2, c3, c4, c5) the notes are in an even begining to visualize the notes... -
mpc1000 too adobe audition/ cool edit ???
hey mik you might want to try cooledit 2000 or an earlier version. I don't use audition because it was changed slightly when it was bought over by adobe. The timing codes are probably the same but it is worth a try. Just by coincidence I was just thinking about this yesterday when i was... -

yo cees, when i sampled with flstudio I would set the tempo and make a 4 bar drum pattern. Once i did that I would open cool edit and record the 4 bars. Then I would see exactly how long the 4 bars were and timestretch (using cool edit) the sample to the exact time of the 4 bar drum pattern... -
