tracking an mpc to mbox 2?
Since the Mbox only has two inputs u will be limited to only recording two sounds using it. Thats why i dont like the Mbox but dat dont mean get rid of it. I use a Track recorder for tracking beats. -

A good sound card. NO creative or audigy type cards i mean they work but i dont recommend them. p.s. I know u asked about software but n order to utilize productive u want a good sound card. -

Man them super bass boost speakers are the shit. Dont worry about it. Da only thing dat sucks on it is the sequencer other than that its a great keyboard. My homeboys lil newphew has it and makes some nice ass hip hop on it. -

Mixing Down the Kick drum
Layer the drum and it should hit hard w/o havin to raise the volume and make it peak. Also make sure u pannin those other sounds but dats really on u. If dats what u doin then dont mind me. -
Midi out doesnt produce sound
I thought the MIDI out was for external gear? At least when i played around with FL thats what i did. Maybe im wrong since i dont really use it.
