I actually like sampling new music. The way I look it at, when hip-hop was founded, they were often sampling soul and funk records that weren't that old at the time. Xzibit - Concentrate (remix)
Really cool man. It has like an Eastern European vibe which is hella unique. What's that faster/high pitch instrument called? The strings panned to the left are fire! My only $0.02 is that the bass gets a bit repetitive when head nodding but dope overall. Really clean sounding too. Great work here.- JECHO
