    that should be possible, but wavelab is an audio editor/mastering program and not a burning program. the burning function is to create back ups or master disks. I think you can burn any file type you want but wavelab costs about $500,- and I think that is a bit expencive for burning software.

    just use wav samples, they are the best quality and you can do what you want with it (fx) and save it. just go to options/file settings, there you can select the part in you computer where you keep your samples and they will appear in your fruity file browser under samples. very easy.

    wavelab 6 doesn't excist. there is just a new version: wavelab 4.1 if you use the link in my first post you can read all about it. I also made mixtapes and edited them in wavelab.

    EQ is also a very important instrument. I also use a little bit of reverb on vocals, but so little that you can hardly hear it and it has to be a very good verb like tc native or steinberg (that is if you are using software) it gives the voice more warmth.

    That's what I do also, load a preset and start tweaking. Usually I start with the adsr knobs wich means Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release. they keep your sound under control.(I think you know what I mean, some sounds can have a life of it's own) There you can shape your sound and than I start...

    Question about mics,,,

    I've got the eurorack also and I've got a behringer B1 condensator mic. it is not so expencive and it is a very good mic. I paid 159 euro's for it that's about the same in dollars ( a bit more I guess). you should check it out. it does need phantom power.(48 volts)

    is the output of the computer connected to the input of the computer or not. if it is, than maybe it is feedback. maybe the mixer settings of the computer are not good. don't know excactly.

    you should check out the gemini's also. pretty cheap and they do alright. it's not a technics or anything, but for a budget they are oke and shame on you: NEVER SELL YOUR TECHNICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :finger: hehe;)
