That happens to alot of people. When i want to get in da mood I watch Making Beatz Videoz or listen to otha people beatz and see what i can do. Maybe you should jus look for samples and why you doing that a beat or melody might come in your head. Jus my two centz. -
Question about cheap mixer?
Give da inputz a good blow(softly no spit goin in) and check cablez cauze i once owned a Behringer Mixer and i did get hizzin but when i got better cablez the problem went away. (monster cable, hosa, ect..) ~1~ -

If u want it to but da way u have it hooked now w/o anythin in da Tascam out u will still be able to uze da Oxygen 8 in Reason, FL it will work da same az if u were uzin da USB on da Oxygen 8. ~1~ -

If u got 600 bucks u can get a keyboard wit soundz dat alzo can be uzed az an controller. Are u hardware or software? I highly recommed da PK-6 itz eazy to uze and workz great wit software. U can get it for under 350 if u can find one on Ebay i know i seen bout 3 of em on there. Check out da pic... -

I agree Yea i mus agree wit u bout da key action. It iz nice and ima keep promotin da PK-6 cauze its real eazy to uze and now i c alot of peepz wanna cop one which iz a good thing cauze it wont let u down. ~1~ -
Presonus or MAudio audio interface
Yes it will replace your current audio interface. You will be able to uze it wit Adobe Audition 1.5 but it may require u to download an ASIO/WDM file. Not 100 percent sure but either one is compatible with most software. No need to change software in my opinion. ~1~ -

how do i sample with cool edit pro(adobe audition)?
How u sample iz up to u but u can uze Cool Edit jus let yo imagination run wild. I have uzed Cool Edit for choppin and stuff. So load up a sound or record into it and see what u can do my manz. ~1~ -
Acid Pro for mixing, how to make tracks
Try highlightin only the part u want burned to a cd and then hit export as .wav file and see what happens. I had that same izzue in Cakewalk a few yearz ago. Let me know what happenz. ~1~
